This is a picture of the Milkweed Tussock caterpillar. There has been a lot of news lately about the decimation of the insect population which is actually quite scary. It has been called “The insect apocalypse” mostly due to climate change. Yikes!!!!!! We have certainly noticed a huge decrease in the number of moths and butterflies this past summer. Remember when your windshield used to be covered with dead bugs in the summer? Not so much anymore….
